Brentwood Olive Oil was the first company to plant trees for olive oil production in 1999. Co-owner David Navarrette served on a tasting panel in Sacramento, where he acquired the knowledge to make great olive oil. It is through tasting that he sharpened his skills to be able to detect flaws in olive oil and also learned about flavoring.

In 2009 co-owner Dawn Fischer brought her knowledge of spices, blending experience, cooking expertise and love for food, wine and olive oil to Brentwood Olive Oil. In November 2009 the company moved to their current location and became Brentwood Spice and Olive Oil.

We currently have over 225 spices, 40+ custom blends and are growing daily to meet demands from our clients. Our olive oil and balsamic vinegars total over 10 different flavors and blends. To our products we will soon be adding local wines. As in the past we will also resource and stock hard to find and small lot vintages. All wines will be available for tasting as well bottle purchase. Soon we will have locally made cheeses to enjoy with your wine purchase.

Beginning in September 2009 the first of it’s kind, our gourmet food club will be in resurrected. The club, Vinolivo, began when David Navarrette put the two words together….Vino for wine and Olivo for oil. Members receive quarterly shipments of wine, spices, olive oil, other ingredients and a recipe. All you add is the protein per the recipe, a little bit of cooking time and ENJOY!
